I have been to Ongle Palace three times now, and while it is a new, clean salon with friendly staff, I have consistently had issues with punctuality and the quality of the pedicures. On my most recent visit, I had a 2:00 p.m. appointment, but my pedicure didn’t start until 2:35 p.m. Delays can happen, but customers should be informed when the salon is running behind schedule so they can decide whether they are able to wait. Respecting clients’ time is important. I have also noticed that the quality of the pedicures is not consistent. As you can see in my photo, my two big toenails were filed into completely different shapes—the left one is noticeably more rounded, while the right one is much squarer. I expected both nails to have the same shape and finish. This kind of inconsistency makes it feel like the service is being rushed. I believe the salon would benefit from booking fewer clients at the same time and focusing on providing a more consistent, detail-oriented service rather than trying to accommodate too many appointments. The salon has a lot of potential because it is clean and the staff are welcoming, but better time management and greater attention to detail would make a significant difference. I hope they take this feedback constructively, as I would like to see them succeed.
